Let's chat the QUINCEAÑERA PARTY!
We were honored and beyond excited to collaborate with Maya on her Quinceañera.
Quinceañera is the celebration of a girl's 15th birthday. It has cultural roots in Latin and Spanish countries.
Maya envisioned all guests in black and white attire and she in red. We were immediately in love with the theme and built out the story from that direction.
Our first step was to secure a venue that would reflect Maya's vision. A venue with a mysterious vibe . At The Wooly Private we uncovered the perfect secret spot.
Maya greeted her guests upon arrival in white dress.
Through an unmarked back entrance Maya made her REVEAL.... her first introduction into society as a women.
Maya floated through a secret door onto the stage in a beautiful RED dress. She remained the sprinkle of red in a room of black and white.
Following the REVEAL. Maya's grandparents graced her with a bouquet of red roses. The petals of the flowers are a representation of sweetness and the stems of the roses represent her strength.
Akir, Maya's father shared a beautiful speech.
Cheers to Maya!!
Signature cocktails were passed at the end of speech.
Details with the black + white paper straws snagged on Etsy.
Following the speech, the Traditional Father Daughter dance takes place.
dance....dance.....dance.....
smile, snap, repeat......photobooth on site.
led beach balls hit up the dance floor for a festive glow. check it out glow source.
Changing of the shoe. Maya's father, Akir, replaced May's shoes with a pair of heels. The pair of heels is a symbol of Maya's growth and responsibility.
Brooklyn Floss spun cotton candy on led cones. The room was a glow and the energy electric.
The candle lighting celebration. Our birthday girl, Maya, honors 15 people who have been especially important in her life. It is a warm emotional piece of the celebration.
it's all about these little details that invite a cohesive magical story.
a pop up dessert bar by melt bakery offered an unexpected treat. ice cream sandwiches wrapped in theme custom designed logo. so sweet, so fun, so yummy.
I
Maya & her mom Michelle designed the logo. We added a bit of gold sparkle & glitter to style the details with a hint of shine.
I am truly in love with this photo that captures the Gutierrez family in an essence of love and playfulness.
GOOD NIGHT!
See you at the next party. Loretta xx
