"LIFE IS UNCERTAIN. EAT DESSERT FIRST".

Party planning for your Sweet Life: dessert has taken on an amazing range of super fun eats. No longer do you need to serve sweets at the end of the party. Our clients have been serving up confections with a clever twist.

THIS WAY:

Point your guests toward the CANDY BAR. We are loving these custom designed wooden arrows, ABC HOME   Color it your way.

For those who love a vintage vibe, we've played up a recent "sweet sixteen" candy bar with the b-day gals all time faves. We hit up Economy Candy on the Lower East Side for a nostalgic selection that takes you way back. As this was hosted at the beach,  drift wood held our Swirl Lollies.

We had fun designing this recent DESSERT BAR, for a backyard birthday party,  layered up the BAR with Butter Baked Goods marshmallows,  animal cracker boxes, more sweets and for a bit of whimsy old time party hats and horns.

A Successful Birthday, THANK YOU ForYourParty.com
July 18, 2014 | food hall + haul, interior alchemy, pretty this + that, the fun piece

We are honored to be featured on ForYourParty blog. When we were approached by the birthday boy's wife to plan a Surprise 40th Celebration for her husband, we couldn't wait to get the party started.

Our consultation with the host provided an opportunity to hone Michele's vision for the celebration.  After taking note of the Guest of Honor's personal preferences we had our Theme: Tapas, Sangria & Salsa

The venue, a modern loft-style apartment was a beautiful setting for the evening.  We styled the white space with layers of festive red + gold. We anchored the space with a sleek communal table filled with a range of interesting and unique tapas prepared by Brooklyn based Mamma Duchess.

Guests mingled as they snacked on these freshly prepared tapas and sipped both sangria and hand-muddled mojitos.

Little details make a Big impact as we turned to foryourparty.com to design a bit of  fun. We loved the chevron hand stamped wooden forks. The personalized imprinted drink stirrers made for a festive vibe. We tied the party theme and colors together with the personalized napkins.

The oversized mylar balloons made up our photobooth backdrop. Guests snapped + snapped again.  FUN.

To complete the theme, a dance instructor taught guests THE SALSA,

Sweet dessert combined the flavors of Brasil in the Brigadeiro, a divine chocolate truffle made by Brigadeiro Bakery in SoHo and Spain's chocolate dipped churros prepared by Mamma Duchess.

As the b-day bash comes to an end the room shined as guests held sparklers wishing a happy birthday to you.

A special note of gratitude to Willi Wong for his expert photography eye.

Cheers to the Party!
