tablescape ideas
April 26, 2018 | in the studio with loretta, interior alchemy, pretty this + that, venue this way

Let's chat up tablescape ideas for your next social event!

The creative process is a magical unfolding of texture, color & ideas. It begins with a visual concept and unfolds to a unique story. The story being a reflection of the client's sensibility.

The creative direction is the grounding element that ensures a cohesive event vibe.

Come along:)........what's your party jam???

A fresh approach........This Bar Mitzvah hosted at Studio 450 reflected classic clean design lines. The modern lounge furniture and communal seating was a fit against the white box setting. Keeping with the aesthetic our floral designer chose pops of color as the tablescape.

A bright approach....this Bar Mitzvah was all about LED lights. Adding to a party vibe, we chose glass vessels filled with LED novelties as the tablescape direction.

A moroccan theme......At the Glass Houses, LED  played up against bright colored floor cushions.

A  cheerful & playful design..... at We Work Bryant Park.  Super fun combination of confetti garland, fairy lights and ranunculus framed the center of the high top communal table.

A sweet + sassy feel....fairy lights twisted around white washed branches gave a sweet twinkle mixed with funky blooms.

A 75th Birthday Bash at Kelley + Ping shouted for simple + bright against the kraft paper and old school SoHo vibe.  A morning visit to the Flower District NYC landed the tablescape with assorted vintage vases and fresh cut bright poppies.

Organic statement......with succulents at the tablescape.  In a quiet style, simply dotted along a side table. Or submerged in cylinder vases. The organic design compliments a setting.

The bohemian style of free soft flowing is reflected in these tablescape designs. Fresh cut flowers, wooden boxes, burlap runners, vintage bottles all combine to give this very popular aesthetic.

bar mitzvah| 26 Bridge, yay!
April 20, 2018 | food hall + haul, interior alchemy, on the road..., the fun piece, venue this way

Oh yeah, Bar Mitzvah at 26 Bridge.

It was super fun to transform 26 Bridge into a modern edge mitzvah party.  We created a vibe that would appeal to both siblings ( brother and sister.)

An urban edge street  sensibility grounded the concept. Our graphic designer created a YEEZY inspired drip font logo.

The Bar Mitzvah swag bags were customized with block letters, edging toward the fashion brand minded KITH.

Design + Color direction took it's cue from black + white + gold decor to gritty street light on the dance floor.

Color condition swag gave depth and texture to the welcome reception.

Ginormous confetti filled balloons warmed the space with magic.

Rent Patina farm tables & string bulb lights set a family style tablescape. Fusion style catering for this Bar Mitzvah was a perfect compliment. Delicious, yummy, fresh Israeli Mediterranean catering served up by  ZiZi Limona

Guests hit up the dance floor under a cloud of ceiling balloons. Tones of blues, reds, ambers flashed amidst LED giveaways and fog blasters. DJ + MC brought the house down:)!!

As a party planner, there is NO BETTER reward than to see your Bar Mitzvah clients having a time to remember. Tatt artists added to the urban funk for kids and the MC danced it out.

Brooklyn Floss cotton candy spun on LED sticks for a festive floating attitude.
