Birthday party at SoHo - Kelley & Ping
May 7, 2015 | food hall + haul, interior alchemy, on the road..., the fun piece, venue this way

Our studio was honored when PERI WOLFMAN of Wolfman Gold rang us to collaborate on her birthday party! A pioneer of style and taste, Peri conceptualized Wolfman-Gold during the early 90's in SoHo. Due to her design innovation, William-Sonoma reached out to her to lead their design team. This success brought Peri to Restoration Hardware to infuse their product line. Remaining true to her spirit, her celebration would be hosted in a classic SoHo venue, Kelley & Ping, filled with her sensibility.

We designed the table scape on brown kraft paper layered with a collection of vintage bottles and bright orange poppies. Before guests arrived at KELLEY AND PING, to celebrate, Peri made an early morning visit to the Flower District. She fell straight away in love with these vibrant beauties.

Peri's grandchildren designed the clever place cards and menus. A Chinese character reflecting the tone of their unique personality graced each guest.

Adding to the festivities, a musician played the dulcimer and Chinese bamboo flute.

Following dinner, chalk drawn arrows directed guests along Greene Street to Peri and Charley's loft. There, guests were mesmerized by Master Paper & Scissor Artist, Mr. Cheng.

This Moveable Feast treated guests to a pop up dessert bar By Luca & Bosco.

Happy Birthday Peri!

A note of thanks to Kelley & Ping for a fabulous birthday party!

Til Next Time, Cheers...Loretta xo
