Eye on~ Bat Mitzvah Planner NYC with a broadway inspired theme.
As a planner, we are always on the hunt for an original theme that reflects the Bat Mitzvah gal.
Colette is a fan of theatre and has a gifted voice. She and her Rabbi created an original "screenplay" for the Bat Mitzvah service. Colette's mom, Bree, found Minton's Playhouse in Harlem as a potential venue for the service. And what a perfect find it is!! Minton's playhouse was the place where Bebop was born; the place where the foundations of modern jazz where established.
The interior design at Minton's included a center stage offering the perfect platform for Colette's Bat Mitzvah service.
We built our design story around Colette's Bat Mitzvah logo. The talented graphic designer, Krista Design Studio, created an interpretation of the play Hairspray for Colette. Upon arrival guests were greeted with a PLAYBILL along with personalized water bottles of water.
Colette's solo performance:)
Immediately following the service guests were escorted next door to Cecil Steakhouse for the PARTY~
Bar staff served up a signature mocktail THE COCO.
Bright, lush seasonal blooms in burnish gold vessels highlighted the tablescape. Floral designer, Capelily, selected these rich tones as the color palette to enhance the venue's interior decor.
Guests filled mini logo imprinted bags from the candy cart.
Colette makes her Grand Entrance:
And the festivities go on & on with board games, an outdoor game of twister, dancing dancing dancing, snap snap snap at the photobooth!
Traditional elements are woven into the party. This rite of passage is a significant celebration. Parents and friends deliver speeches, kind words and memories in honor of the Bat Mitzvah.
SWAG SWAG SWAG, as the festivities come to a close.....

And that's a wrap.......:)
